Has Spring Finally Sprung?

Many are the challenges during the change of seasons, especially with climate change looming large in our land and it seems both east and west coasts have experienced such diversity -- some of us are wondering where has the "norm" gone. On a similar note, life is constantly changing like the seasons. Things escalate one minute and then slow down the next. Hustle and bustle, hired or not hired, working, and then laid off, sales or no sales, just like the unpredictable seasons we expect spring to follow winter accordingly -- four months for each season. But can we honestly say currently that's the "norm", like our lives the seasons have taken a turn, and we must adjust, readjust, and make concessions. That's the ebb and flow of life and like life - your business needs ebb and flow. You want to keep the momentum going, stimulate interest in your products or services, run after the last appointment to catch a flight so that you can make another presentation and the plane is delayed or you must hurry to get your paperwork in before the deadline (and after that deadline no more applications are being accepted).

Unpredictable as it may be, your business pursuits are exciting, unexpected, challenging and rewarding all at the same time. Spring was supposed to be here at the beginning of April and the season wasn’t informed – there were still snow flurries, hail storms, torrential rains, and sunshine. All in one breadth. Just make sure you have an umbrella, a jacket, and a light blouse in your car/briefcase so you’re prepared to flow whichever way the wind blows. As you pursue of a full life, the seasons will change and you must keep up with the change. Discern the climate and dress/act accordingly. Spring has finally sprung!
